Our specialized Sports and Recreation Program at the Guildford Recreation Center offers an environment designed to rebuild confidence, enhance physical fitness, and foster a positive mindset.

Our clients benefit from 2-4 hours of structured recreation time in this state-of-the-art facility, accompanied by supportive Night and Day staff. This program is not only about engaging in physical activities but also about strengthening the mind and body to aid a holistic recovery process.

Our residents have access to extensive amenities at the Guildford Recreation Center, including:

Expansive Weight Room: An 8,900 square foot area equipped with modern amenities such as radio, TV, and free Wi-Fi.

Cardio Equipment: Over 50 pieces, including treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and rowing machines.

Strength Training: Over 20 types of equipment, including TRX trainers, kettlebells, and weight machines.

Free Weights: Available up to 95 pounds for dumbbells and 110 pounds for barbells.

Accessible Equipment: Includes features like adjustable machines, raised stretching mats, and specialized gear for various needs.

Expanded Fitness Studio

Spacious Studio: Over 2,000 square feet with a wood sprung floor, perfect for yoga and aerobic exercises.

Yoga and Flexibility Equipment: Mats, blocks, stability balls, step blocks, resistance bands, and hand weights enhance a variety of workouts.

World-Class Aquatic Facility

Guildford Rec Center's aquatic facilities are among the best, featuring:

Olympic Size Competition Pool: An 8-lane, 50m FINA-standard pool.

Leisure Pool: Includes a lazy river, spray features, and a toddler area with ramp access.

Family-Friendly Hot Tub: With ramp access and a water slide, plus springboard diving.

Accessible Sauna and Steam Rooms: Along with a large family-friendly universal change area.

Spectator Seating: Accommodates 200-300 people for aquatic sports competitions.

Pool Accessibility: Ramped access to leisure pools and hot tubs, portable lift for the main pool, and two aquatic wheelchairs enhance inclusivity.

Universal Change Rooms: Equipped with accessible stalls featuring hand-held showers, benches, an adult-sized change table, and accessible sauna and steam rooms.
